The Customer

PanNASH Initiative has set itself the core mission of raising awareness and disseminating knowledge about non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) as a multisystemic disease, with a particular focus on the role of PPAR agonists. This initiative targets a niche international audience, including the scientific and clinical community as well as other key stakeholders in the healthcare system, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life for millions of patients worldwide.

The objective was clear: to stand out from other scientific dissemination platforms, which are often fragmented or overly specialized. To achieve this, PanNASH aimed to gather and showcase a wide range of rich and diverse content, going far beyond simple YouTube publications.

The strategy adopted had to be 360-degree, encompassing not only video but also annotated articles, multimedia content, and contributions from leading global experts in the fields of NASH, NAFLD, and PPAR agonists.

Technical Audit and Cleanup:

The first crucial step toward achieving this ambitious goal involved a thorough technical audit of the existing website.

The site had previously suffered from the involvement of multiple agencies, resulting in a buildup of duplicate plugins, outdated code, and an overall structure in need of improvement. These technical issues not only hindered SEO performance but also compromised the user experience.

A “spring cleaning” was therefore necessary to eliminate redundancies and modernize the code, laying the foundation for a high-performing website—fast, secure, and easy to navigate.

Graphic Design and Branding

After the technical cleanup, the next step focused on the website’s graphic redesign and the strengthening of its brand identity. The goal was to create a visually appealing and modern design that reflects the expertise and credibility of the PanNASH Initiative, while also encouraging user engagement.

Harmonizing the visual identity across all communication channels was essential to establish a strong and consistent brand presence, both on the website and across social media and partner platforms.

In collaboration with the agency managing LinkedIn and X, a visual overhaul was carried out across all platforms, along with a major YouTube update entirely handled by our team.

SEO and Content Strategy

With a solid technical foundation and a new visual identity in place, the focus shifted to SEO optimization and the development of a rich and engaging content strategy. The goal was to produce and distribute relevant, high-value information about NASH, accessible to both healthcare professionals and the general public.

Video Content: A close collaboration with the MedEd Global Solutions (MedEd GS) agency provided the most challenging element of the project—the video material, essential to the strategy. Not only was the content of high quality, but it was also optimized for SEO. Medegs, renowned for its expertise in the healthcare field, delivered engaging educational videos, offering valuable insights into NASH.

360-Degree Strategy: Beyond videos, the content strategy embraced a 360-degree approach, incorporating various formats to maximize engagement and visitor retention. Podcasts were introduced, and specialized articles written by experts from the Medegs agency complemented the content offering, providing detailed analyses and fresh perspectives on the disease.

Ad-hoc SEO Optimization: Every piece of content, from videos to articles, was carefully optimized for search engine optimization (SEO), with the goal of maximizing the online visibility of the PanNASH Initiative.
